Bangladesh Women Set to Face South Africa in Crucial World Cup Clash Of Cricket

Bangladesh Women will face South Africa in their fourth match of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 in Visakhapatnam. After two consecutive losses, the Tigresses aim to return to form, while South Africa look to extend their winning streak.

Bangladesh Women’s Cricket Team will take on South Africa in their fourth match of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup tomorrow (Monday, October 13) at Visakhapatnam, India. The match will begin at 3:30 PM Bangladesh time.

After a flying start with a convincing win in their opening match, the Tigresses have lost momentum, suffering two heavy defeats against England and New Zealand. With their campaign hanging in the balance, Bangladesh will now aim to bounce back by defeating the strong South African side.

South Africa, on the other hand, have had a solid run so far — winning two out of their three matches, including a narrow three-wicket victory over India in their most recent encounter. With four points, they currently sit at fourth place on the table, while Bangladesh, with two points, are placed sixth.

Historically, Bangladesh have faced South Africa 21 times in ODIs, winning only three and losing 18. Their last ODI series meeting came in December 2023, when South Africa hosted Bangladesh and won the three-match series 2–1.
